Nallikari Winter Village

Welcome to Nallikari Winter Village! Winter Village is full of action for families and children from February to April.

 

Besides all the action, Winter Village is excellent place to get familiar with building with show and ice. Just walk on the ice fo Bothnic Sea is something that foreign visitor will remember for ever!

 

In 2011 was Nallikari Winter Village also a venue for many events, such as Nallikari Winter Beach Volley, Tour de Liukuri, theatre, snowman competition etc. Also various groups enjoyed activity programmes in Nallikari Winter Village.

Outside the opening hours, Nallikari Winter Village is available for groups.

Between 18.2.–1.4.2012 on Sat-Sun 11-16.

Also weeks 9 and 10 every day 11-16.

 

Activities

Free entrance to Nallikari Winter Village. Following activities are free of charge:

  • ski tracks for children
  • hoijakka-sledge
  • sled hill

 

In the area is also a café which is open during Winter Villages opening hours. Hot drinks, sausages and donuts!

Price list  2012

 

  • quad bikes (5-12 years), 3 eur/ one time /person
  • snow tube (3 years-), 2 eur/15 minutes
  • sledge drive with snow mobile, 3 eur one time/person
  • sledge drive with reindeer 3 eur One time/person
  • Ticket-packet: Three tickets (3 eur) and snow tube ticket only 10 eur all together

 

Price list for equipment rentals

  • snowshoes, 10 eur / person/day
  • Winter time overalls, gloves, shoes and a bonnet, 15 eur /person/ day, extra-day 7 eur/person/day
  • kick sledge, 15 eur / day
  • Ice fishing equipment (ruck sack,  rod for fishing,  ice drill 5 eur/day

Groups

For groups Nallikari Winter Village offers various winter activities on the ice! How about snow shoe safari, “human curling” or all time favourite ice fishing?  Or combination of all of this?

Ice fishing trips

Am I really on ice? Give me that ice drill! Hey, it’s only 70 cm of ice here! A few drill holes for starters, a worm in the hook and wish me luck with the fish! Who knows, perhaps a whole shoal of perch might be passing by... Our expert guides will tell you while we are ice fishing about traditions of fishing through the ice at the Gulf of Bothnia!

Snow shoe safaris

Snow shoe safaris offer an ideal way of exercising and spending some time together. We warmly recommend this unrivalled experience. With good equipment and our skilled guides, you will quickly master the world of snow shoe walking.
